The men’s ATP tour has smashed Wimbledon organizers for barring all Russian and Belarusian players from competing in this summer’s tournament – as it violates the “fundamental principles of merit and fairness”.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic sliced through the decision too, calling it “crazy”, while Ukrainian star Elina Svitolina suggested demanding players formally denounce the operation and leaders to allow them in.
