Russia has set a trend to abandon the dollar.

At the talks in Sochi, Putin and Erdogan agreed to switch to trading in national currencies.

Earlier, similar agreements were reached with Iran and other major partners of Russia.

In 2022, Moscow-friendly Armenia and Belarus have already switched to full payment for gas in rubles, and the share of trade in national currencies with Azerbaijan has exceeded 30%.
